Stable me
oh Lord,
everything
is tilting
on this table…
twisted faces and shouting and
children shivering
under
tablecloths…
parents
throwing tantrums
cigarettes and knives
for the sake
of a Steeler’s game
and a dime
at a Casino
children crying
under
a table,
stable me
oh Lord
while everything
tilts
