when her heart broke
it was as though
her lips flapped
upside down
and split
into two chapped pink petals
rent
by wild winds
who sucked
the blooms right out of her.
dizzily
she spun,
fell,
panicked
through dream-clouds
who failed to hold
her deathly silent fall.
he saw this happen you know,
saw her pink drizzled
fears
and caught her
with two gentle hands,
cupped her
with two gentle hands
and sang
“I love you, I love you,”
as he taught her how to float
on gentle kisses,
silently,
brokenly… through
sunrises
and on the third morning
her healed lips pattered,
“i love you too”
then she bloomed
right out of her lips
flew
right out of her lips
to become
his rose petaled
heart.
There is no way, you can ever dare write anything so lovely as this and have me not comment! This time my heart even did a little “blip pause blip” 🙂
