horseradish hooves ( a love song for the Shepherd…of Israel)

Buckets on a Barefoot Beach

no you…no me… without you i wander like goats,

horseradish gores

our scattered throats

i laughed…no time to dress, and left my hooves

upon your chest

and now I’m gone

raspy ribbons won’t hide who I used to be

untied pieces

no you , no me

tied to the wicked gypsy tree…thirsty lips

goat bleeting hips

tethered we scream
